Brixton Social nightclub shutting its doors in Waterloo

After six years in Waterloo, the Brixton Social nightclub has announced they will no longer operate.
In a Facebook post on Nov. 15th, the organization states they will be closing 'due to immediate unforeseen circumstances.'
Brixton Social goes on to thank the community and staff, saying their success would not have been possible without the amazing people and energy that was brought into the space.
The nightclub, which was located on University Avenue, had over 8,000 followers on Facebook.
Brixton Social has yet to say why they decided to close, but hint at more to come in their Facebook post, saying 'But with all great endings comes new exciting beginnings! Stay tuned…”
