Arrests made in connection with Kitchener bank robbery

Durham Regional Police have arrested three suspects in a string of bank robberies, one of those happened in Kitchener.
The afternoon of February 23, suspects took off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the Scotiabank branch on Courtland Avenue East.
No one was hurt as a result of the robbery.
Michael Christopher, 20, from Etobicoke is facing charges, along with a 16-year-old boy from Brantford and another 16-year-old boy from Mississauga.
Christopher and the suspect from Mississauga are also wanted in connection with bank robberies in Grimsby, York Region, Durham Region, Barrie and for an attempted bank robbery in Hamilton.
Durham Regional Police are thanking both Waterloo Regional Police and Niagara Regional Police for their assistance during the investigations.
