Limo driver facing charges after stop on 401

By Blair Adams

The driver of a stretch limousine is facing various charges after being stopped by officers with Cambridge OPP.

The limo was heading east on the 401 through Cambridge when police pulled it over on Saturday evening.

Police determined the status of the limousine was “unfit” and the driver was unlicenced.

They also allege they observed a young child in the back who was not properly restrained.

A Kitchener man, 41, is facing charges including driving a motor vehicle with no licence and failing to ensure a child was properly secured.

No name has been released.

The limo was towed from the scene.
