Kitchener unveils first ever PRIDE crosswalk at Victoria Park
You don’t have to wait for some rain to see this rainbow.
Activists, LGBTQ+ members, and Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic took the first steps across a new rainbow crosswalk Tuesday afternoon.
The crosswalk was installed near the entrance of Victoria Park at Joesph and Gaukel.

Bonnie Sutherland, secretary and executive director for Tri-Pride, says that this crosswalk stands out from the rest.
Another rainbow crosswalk is scheduled to be installed Wednesday in Waterloo.
