Erin man charged with sexual assault, exploitation

Provincial Police have arrested a man from Erin in connection with what they’re calling – “a brief and thorough investigation”.

OPP say a 34-year-old was taken into custody on Tuesday, and charged with one count of sexual assault and one count of sexual exploitation.

No further details have been released, in order to protect the identity of the victim involved.

Police say the Erin man was released on a ‘promise to appear’, and will appear in Orangeville court at a later date. There’s no word right now on when that will be.
