Three men are charged in an alleged multi-city, human trafficking operation, involving a 20-year-old woman from the Woodstock area.
It all started in September with a tip from a citizen who observed three females interacting with the accused at a Kingston motel, and became concered for their wellbeing.
An investigation by police in that city revealed the victims were prostituted at hotels using local ads, including in London and Guelph, and controlled through intimidation and financial dependence.
Investigators say the youngest victim — a 14-year-old Hamilton girl — was recruited in July with promises of lavish lifestyle.
An 18-year-old Brampton man and two Mississauga men — aged 18 and 20 — face charges that include procuring a minor, human trafficking and sexual assault.
