Police looking for suspect after B & E, assault in Kitchener

Police are hunting for a suspect in a break, enter and assault case in Kitchener.

Police say a suspect entered a home in the Filsinger Park area of Kitchener around 4 a.m. Monday and assaulted a female resident.

That’s in the Highland Road area.

Police say the female was treated for non-life threatening injuries and the suspect fled on foot.

Police believe it was a targeted incident and remind residents to lock your doors and secure your home.
