A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Waterloo Region and the surrounding areas.
Environment Canada says heavy rains and damaging winds, with gusts up to 90 km/h, is expected later this evening. Conditions could also create large hail.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management is reminding you to take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
