Whitby man faces multiple fraud charges

A Whitby man faces numerous charges in connection with a fraud investigation in Guelph.

Guelph Police say they began the investigation after they received a complaint from a local business regarding an employee and record keeping.

As a result of the investigation, a 53-year-old male employee was arrested.

The Whitby man will appear in bail court on Thursday and faces numerous charges including fraud over $5,000 and forgery.
