Knives pulled during fight in Kitchener, two arrested

Waterloo Regional Police have made two arrests after knives were pulled during a fight in Kitchener.

The incident happened Sunday around 1:30pm in the area of 8th Avenue and Connaught Street.

Police tell 570 News two groups of people were arguing about a female acquaintance, when members from one of the groups pulled out knives.

The suspects fled when officers showed up, but they later arrested two suspects.

Both are facing several weapons related offences.
