Thieves target The Bay in Waterloo and Kitchener

Police are investigating after two local malls were robbed on Monday night.
Police say just after 1 a.m., two men smashed the front door of The Bay at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo and broke in. About 40 minutes later, the same two men broke into The Bay at Fairview Park Mall in Kitchener by smashing the doors open.
A resident that lives near Fairview Park Mall saw the incident and notified police, but the suspects sped away down Fairway– headed towards HWY 8 EB going out to the 401.
Police say the men got away with watches and jewelry.
Suspect 1: white, wearing a grey hoodie, dark coat, white running shoes and gloves. He was carrying a pry bar.
Suspect 2: white, wearing a blue hoodie, a dark balaclava that covered part of his face, khaki pants and dark shoes. He was carrying a hammer with a yellow handle.
