Torchia signs with Generals

Baden’s Nathan Torchia has signed with the Oshawa Generals.

The goalie was a fourth round selection of the Gens in April’s draft and one of a record nine Waterloo Wolves selected by OHL teams.

Nathan is the son of former Kitchener Rangers goalie and 570 News colour analyst Mike Torchia.

Last season, Torchia picked up 19 wins in 35 games with the Wolves.

He recently participated in Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence Goaltending Camp.
