Police search for suspects after attempted armed robbery in Kitchener

Police are looking for two suspects after an armed robbery early Tuesday morning in Kitchener.
Police say two men entered a home near Wilson and Eighth Avenue through an unlocked back door just before 4:30 a.m., and demanded money from the homeowner.
The suspects took off after they were confronted by the family dog.
Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 61″, 20-30 years old, thin, wearing dark hoodie dark jeans, gloves and bandanna over face, and was holding a handgun.
Suspect #2 is described as male, either white or Asian, 56″, 20-30 years old wearing gloves, clothing unknown, and was holding a knife.
