82-year-old man dead after stabbing at Brampton home

An 82-year-old man is dead after a stabbing at a home in Brampton, Peel police say.

Around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police were called to the house on Fleetwood Crescent, near Clark Boulevard and Bramalea Road.

The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening wounds and died soon after.

A suspect was arrested at the residence, and police said there are no suspects outstanding.

Police couldn’t confirm the relationship between the victim and the suspect, or if they were residents of the home.
