UW ranked 26th top school for Computer Science and Information Systems

In an annual ranking by British-based education company QS TopUniversities, the University of Waterloo ranked 26th out of 500 other universities in the category of Computer Science and Information Systems.
QS TopUniversities ranks schools based on three categories: academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
This year, The University of Waterloo scored 80.4 points out of an overall score of 100.
That’s down from last year’s ranking of 24th.
Topping the chart is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) which placed first and Stanford University placed second.
The University of Toronto was Canada’s top performing university which came in at number eleven. The University of British Columbia also placed ahead of U of W at 24th.
