Waterloo council approves funding for Communitech Data Hub

Communitech will expand and launch a Data Hub in uptown Waterloo next year.
Waterloo city council approved $340,000 of funding this year, $190,000 next year and $150,000 in 2018.
The funding will act as seed capital for areas such as early operating costs and program design and development at the former police station.
