Fire under control on Dutton Dr. in Waterloo

A fire at the regional ION building on Dutton Drive is now under control. The shelter in place order has been lifted.

A Grandlinq maintenance building caught fire around 5PM and heavy smoke could be seen from the 570 News studios in downtown Kitchener.

Police say there are no injuries and it is a construction site.
