Kitchener’s Margaret Avenue bridge to re-open today

Some relief for construction-weary motorists in K-W.

The new Margaret Avenue bridge in Kitchener is set to re-open Friday.

The original bridge was closed in 2013 and later demolished due to structural concerns.

Keep in mind, there will be some lane restrictions for the next week or so, as the final asphalt surface is installed.

The city plans a grand re-opening celebration for the bridge on October 30th.
