Time is money – and Leslie Ellins has written a candid letter to Peterborough Regional Health Centre – asking to be reimbursed. She says she waited an hour and half for a one minute injection – and that at least four patients were scheduled to see the same doctor – at the same time. She became even more frustrated when she found out that the Doctor and staff had taken a lunch break – and those waiting were told they could miss their appointment if they stepped out for something to eat. Ellins said her breaking point was when she received a 25 dollar invoice for a procedure that had previously been offered for free…she has written back with a bill of her own – $122.50 for her wasted time.
