A nasty winter storm is bearing down on Waterloo Region and much of southern Ontario.
We are under a winter storm warning.
For Waterloo Region and Wellington County the expected snowfall total is around 20 centimetres or 8 inches, but Environment Canada says some areas could be looking at upwards of 35 centimetres or 14 inches of snow.
It says the worst of the storm is happening this morning, but even when the snow does taper off, high winds will result in blowing snow and reduced visibility.
