Saturday to start weekend with warmer weather

This is traditionally the coldest week of the year.
Not this year however, and certainly not Saturday.
The high Saturday is expected to reach at least zero.
The bad news: the temperature will drop back off on Sunday with a high only in the minus 4 range.
At this time of year, the temperature usually doesn’t climb above minus 3.
Environment Canada Senior Climatologist Dave Phillips says we should take heart since there is now essentially more winter behind us than ahead of us.
The days are getting longer with about 2 minutes of extra daylight every day.
We are now less than two months away from spring and Groundhog Day is just over a week away.
