Following Friday’s ruling that an 11 year old aboriginal girl did not have to continue with potentially lifesaving chemotherapy, a listener of the show expressed his concern over what he calls ‘quack medicine.’  Terry Polevoy is a Doctor in Waterloo who has a site called healthwatcher.net and expressed his concern about the alternative medicine the girl was using which included a raw food diet and Vitamin C injections.

Facebook is developing a new alternative site called Facebook at Work, aimed at taking on LinkedIn and other business social networks. It says the new site will help you showcase your professional side by letting you chat with colleagues and connect with contacts, but critics warn Facebook will have to improve its privacy features to ensure corporate secrets aren’t revealed. They also point out this is another way to get people to spend more time on Facebook and give Facebook the chance to sell more advertising and make more money.
