How to become a Secret Santa

You’re encouraged to tell everyone this secret.

The 570 News Secret Santa campaign is officially underway.

It’s a way for you, and us, to give back.

The Rogers Kitchener Radio Group and its partners gather toys for those less fortunate.

Businesses across Waterloo Region will be taking part.

Promotions Manager for the Rogers Kitchener Radio Group, Christa Hicks says the campaign in its ninth year continues to do great work.

“The need is there,” says Hicks. “We’ve been so fortunate with the community and all their donations throughout the year, and we’ve certainly been able to fill that every year, and this year is no different and we’re looking for another successful campaign.”

She says the goal is simple.

“We work together with Salvation Army to ensure every child has a toy to open Christmas morning and it’s been very warming to see the community to pull together, the workplaces to pull together to ensure that happens.”

From now until December 24th you can drop off toys in the many donation boxes throughout the region or at the Rogers Kitchener Radio Group office.
