Gas rates could increase for residents in Kitchener

If you live in Kitchener, your natural gas bill could look different come September 1st.
A recommendation heading to council on Monday would see gas rates increase 4.7 per cent. That is about $40.00 a year for the average customer.
The report says the rate will result in a significantly lower overall customer impact than those approved by the Ontario energy board earlier this year.
