SIU investigating after incident in Guelph

The special investigations unit is investigating after an incident in Guelph Saturday night.

Guelph Police were called to a home around 5 pm for a family problem and officers helped locate a young man.

Police say after a brief interaction, the youth suffered a serious injury.

The SIU was notified and they invoked their mandate.

Guelph Police say they will fully co-operate with the SIU investigation.
