Marching supports gay students and staff, trustees agreed Monday in an 8-1 vote. Johnson argued that censuring teachers could force gay Catholic students further underground, where they might harm themselves. As the election campaign drags on, the Liberals hope to capture commuter hearts in Cambridge. The Wynne Liberals are promising they will help fund Phase Two of the LRT project. This includes the Cambridge LRT line, which the Liberals claim will be “eligible” for funding from their $29-billion transportation fund. Cambridge Mayor Doug Craig tells 570 News this isn’t a priority for the city at this time. “Right now I think – let’s be realistic, and deal with the transportation needs that are on the table right now.
