Top ten worst roads in Ontario released

The top ten worst roads in Ontario according to the CAA Worst Roads Campaign were released Wednesday.
For a third year in a row, Dufferin Street in Toronto topped the list. In fact, seven of the ten worst roads were in Toronto.
Here in the region the most voted on streets were Belmont Ave West, NorthField Dr W, and Ottawa St. North
The list outlines which roads need the most work in our province due to traffic congestion, confusing road signs and cycling safety.
Even though no local roads made the list, we decided to ask you – what is the worst road in Waterloo Region? Many said Weber Street due to the construction and potholes while others mentioned Fairway Road.
Last year, Westmount Road West received the most votes in Kitchener but didn’t make the list.

2. Stanley Avenue (Niagara Falls)
3. Kipling Avenue (Toronto)
4. Finch Avenue West (Toronto)
5. Burlington Street East (Hamilton)
6. Bayview Avenue (Toronto)
7. Carling Avenue (Ottawa)
8. Markham Road (Toronto)
9. Lawrence Avenue East (Toronto)
10. Wilson Avenue (Toronto)
