Severe thunderstorm warning issued for Waterloo Region

Waterloo Region and surrounding areas are now under a severe thunderstorm warning.
Environment Canada says severe thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and into this evening.
The weather authority also warns that these storms could produce strong winds and heavy rain. There’s also the possibility for hail.
