When the Grand River runs high and fast, people take notice. This Saturday marks four decades since the last big flood of the Grand River, on May 17, 1974. The flood inundated communities along the river, but Bridgeport in Kitchener, downtown Cambridge and Brantford were hit the hardest by high water.
