Suspect wanted in connection with string of robberies

Halton Regional Police have linked a single suspect to eight bank robberies in southern Ontario.
Investigators say the robberies occurred at banks in Oakville, Burlington and Kitchener since Janurary 3rd of this year.
In Kitchener, the robberies happened on February 18th. In those instances, police say they were first called around 10:30 a.m. to the Scotiabank at 64 King Street near Ontario Street. Just ten minutes later they were called to another robbery at the Scotiabank at 1258 King Street near Sheldon Drive.
In both cases, police say the same man entered the bank, and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators say no weapons were indicated by the suspect or observed by bank employees in all cases, and no one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white man, 5’10” to 6’2″, 200 to 250 pounds, with a chubby face with a wide jaw.
