OPP clock driver going 55 km/h over the speed limit

Wellington OPP have charged a Tottenham man after he was caught driving 55 km/h over the speed limit.
OPP say around 10:48 p.m. yesterday they saw a 1998 Dodge traveling at a high rate of speed on Wellington Road 124 and Wellington Road 27 in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Police say the vehicle was going 125 km/h in a 70 km/h zone.
Police say the driver’s license and vehicle were seized for a week.
The driver, 19-year-old David Gleeson of Tottenham has been charged with racing a motor vehicle contrary to the highway traffic act.
He will appear in court on April 16th to answer to the charge.
