The Kitchener Rangers once again find themselves five points back of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Plymouth picked up a big road win against the Greyhounds in Sault Ste. Marie last night to keep a comfortable lead on the Rangers.
The Rangers have a game in hand on the Whalers and will play three games in the next four days starting tonight when the team travels to Windsor to take on the Spitfires. Tomorrow, Owen Sound visits the Aud, and on Sunday the Rangers play host to Ottawa.
The Whalers have tonight off before taking on the Sting in Sarnia on Friday, and host the London Knights on Saturday.
