Human trafficking arrests in Kitchener

New charges today for two Toronto-area men involved in a human trafficking case in Waterloo Region we first told you about last week.

24-year-old Shakib Gharibzada from Toronto, and 25-year-old Masoood Hejran from Newmarket, are now charged each with sexual assault, using an imitation firearm, and breach of probation.

This is in addition the original charges laid last week of procuring a teen for prostitution, human trafficking and making money off human trafficking.

Police also released today that the female they found with the two men was an 18-year-old from Toronto.
