Fatal fire in Guelph

Guelph Police, Fire and EMS say one person has died following a house fire today. It broke out at a home on Deerpath Drive. Several other people were taken to Guelph General Hospital with undetermined injuries.

The cause remains under investigation and no names have been released. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is assisting in the investigation.
