Guelph extending ice storm grocery card program

Officials in Hamilton and Wellington say they’re extending the ice storm grocery store gift card program into today at two locations.
Eligible households that lost food due to the power outage caused by last month’s ice storm will receive grocery store gift cards.
Eligible single people will receive a 50-dollar gift card, and eligible families a 100-dollar card.
To be eligible, households must have been without power for 48 hours and also meet income requirements.
