Reminder: Garbage and recycling collection pushed back one day

A reminder about waste collection in the tri-cities for this week.
It will be delayed by one day due to the extreme weather conditions on Tuesday.
Here is the collection schedule for the rest of the week:
- Wednesday, your waste will be collected on Thursday
- Thursday, your waste will be collected on Friday
- Friday, your waste will be collected on Saturday
Cari Rastas-Howard, Project Manager for Waste Management Programs in the Region tells 570 News Christmas Trees are also still being collected.
“As long as trees are at the curb and at ground level, not on snow banks or covered in snow we are doing one final sweep on Saturday to hopefully get all the Christmas Trees.”
Regular collection will continue on Monday.
