Another bitterly cold day in Waterloo Region

Another bitterly cold day is in the forecast with temperatures well below normal and winds resulting in dangerous wind chills.
Waterloo Region and area remain under a wind chill warning today, some areas could experience wind chills of close to minus 40.
The Region of Waterloo Public Health yesterday issued an extreme cold warning, saying when it is this cold, it is not that difficult to get frostbite.
The City of Kitchener also left a number of municipal facilities open later last night to serve as warming centres.
There are other warming centres across the region.
