Fire in Kitchener causes extensive damage

Damage is estimated at $200,000 after a house fire in Kitchener last night.

Police tell 570 News it happened around 11 PM on Weber street near Guelph street.

Six residents were in the rental home at the time.

No one was hurt but a 39-year-old woman was sent to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Fire officials say careless smoking is what led to the fire.
