Wind warning lifted

You may notice some recycling boxes or garbage on the road on the way into work or school today.

It was a windy night in Waterloo Region. A wind warning for us
and much of the surrounding area was lifted at 5am.

Environment Canada says in the wake of the cold front that is moving in, wind gusts of 60 to 90 km/h have been reported in several locations.

The winds are expected to taper off this morning.
