Communitech to receive $15 million from province

Communitech had many reasons to celebrate after the Provincial Government’s 2013 Fall Economic Statement Thursday afternoon.

The Waterloo-based company will receive $15 million over the next 3 years.

The investment looks to create more jobs for Waterloo Region.

CEO of Communitech Iain Klugman says “Communitech is proud to be a partner in the Ontario Innovation Agenda. This additional support will help us to expand programming at the Communitech Hub to meet the significant demand for startup assistance and support Ontario firms as they scale.”
