It could be a wet Halloween

All the ghouls, ghosts, and goblins may need an umbrella this Halloween.

Weather experts are predicting a windy and possibly wet October 31st.

Meteorologist with The Weather Network, Dayna Vettese tells 570 News they still aren’t sure when the rain will hit.

“This far in advance it is a little more difficult to nail down precipitation timing than it is temperatures so leading up to Halloween I would keep checking back with your forecast just seeing if the timing on the system is still the same.”

She adds trick-or-treaters may want a jacket or warm sweater when heading out as temperatures will be just below 10 degrees.

“Definitely layer up underneath if you can because you don’t want to cover up your costume.”

And a word of advice for all those heading out with small children; Vettese says the sun should set around 6 p.m. so be sure to remain visible to cars while you’re walking up and down the street.
