10:00am- Louisette Lanteigne, Concerned resident, Re: The region wants to build the River Road extension through known Jefferson Salamander habitats. This is the largest population of Jeffersons in Canada in a location known as Hidden Valley. The area is a primary recharge area and the topography is shaped like a basin with the wetland feature at the bottom, grasslands to the East and West and Forests located at the north, the south and through the interior. It is an ancient forest system.
10:30am- Alissa Golob, Youth Coordinator with the Campaign Life Coalition, Re: Every year, the government extracts up to $50 million from the wallets of taxpayers in order to finance elective abortions, a procedure which is not medically necessary. Campaign Life Coalition’s Youth Division will air their grievances at the local constituency offices of more than half the MPPs across the province over the next year.
