Power Restored to 3000 in Kitchener

Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro tells 570 News approximately 3000 customers have had their power restored after hours in the dark Sunday morning.

Hydro officials tell 570 News the outage was caused by broken insulators.

No word on when power will be fully restored to the remaining customers.

Earlier Sunday morning, 2,525 homes were without power in the Stanley Park area of Kitchener and nearly 1,000 more in the area of Homer Watson and Ottawa.
