A birthday for Kitchener City Hall

Kitchener city councillors will open tonight’s meeting with a celebration.
They will mark the 20th anniversary of city hall.
Appropriately, Carl Zehr, the city’s longest serving mayor will lead the celebrations.
When they get down to business, councillors will receive the final numbers for building new washrooms at Victoria Park.
This meeting, by the way, will be televised on Rogers Cable 20 starting at 7 p.m.
Waterloo’s Finance and Strategic Planning Committee has an afternoon meeting scheduled.
Councillors will be brought up to date on the status of the reserve fund and will be also asked to reduce the 2014 Municipal Price Index from 2.46% to 1.25%.
