Suspect arrested in Kitchener purse snatching

A Kitchener man is in custody in connection with a purse snatching.

Waterloo Regional Police say the 26-year-old man faces a robbery charge after a woman had her purse stolen on Greenfield Avenue near Fairview Park Mall just after four yesterday afternoon.

Police say she was not hurt.

Police also say they are looking into a similar incident earlier in the day to see if they are connected.
