Road rage in Cambridge

A 35-year-old Cambridge man is facing several charges after the O.P.P. investigated a case of road rage and assault on the 401 yesterday.An officer stopped to help what appeared to be a disabled Hyundai on the Hwy 401 eastbound ramp to Hwy 6, and a statement from that driver began the search for a man driving an Acura SUV.
The man, Wisam Esmat Natif, of Cambridge turned himself into police later that day. He was charged with assault, stunt driving, careless driving and a child seatbelt offence.
His SUV was impounded and his license was suspended for 7 days as well.
Natif was released on a promise to appear in court at the end of May.
