Special weather statement issued

A special weather statement has been issued for Waterloo Region and much of southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says a low pressure system will bring mixed precipitation
to the area.

570’s Weather Specialist John Wilson says snow mixed with ice pellets should start by noon. As well, there is a risk of freezing rain this afternoon.

We could see between 5 and 8cm of snow, today and tonight.
