GRCA Flood Warning Ends

The Grand River Conservation Authority has terminated a level one flood watch.
River levels are now receding but will remain higher than normal over the weekend as runoff drains through the watershed.
The GRCA reminds those living along the Grand, Nith, Conestogo and Speed Rivers that banks continue to pose a safety risk and parents are encouraged to keep children and pets away from the water.
The GRCA will continue to monitor river conditions that could cause localized flooding.
