A hockey association in P.E.I. warned players and coaches to shake hands appropriately with their opponents after receiving complaints of aggressive behaviour during the traditional postgame show of sportsmanship.

Can mention : A Vancouver pee wee hockey coach has been sentenced to 15 days in jail for tripping a player during a postgame handshake.  Martin Tremblay, 48, swept out the leg of an opposing player while the teams were going through the typical hockey ritual of lining up to shake hands after the game. 4:42– Damage is pegged at $100,000 following a fire last night at a 160-year old heritage home in Cambridge. Firefighters responded to the blaze at 849 Queenston Road (near Church Street) around 9:30 last night. Cambridge Fire Department Platoon Chief Brad Grimwood says the lone occupant was outside the residence by the time crews arrived. They went inside to rescue a dog. Q’s: Should older homes and buildings in the Region have different fire code regulations? Is there a responsibility by the city to help owners get it up to new fire codes?
