Here are the major cancellations for Friday, February 8th:

CLUBS/ORGANIZATIONS/EVENTS/PROGRAMS:

-Please be advised that all locations of the Kitchener Public Library are CLOSED today due to the current winter storm. All locations are expected to re-open as usual tomorrow, Saturday, February 9 at 9am

-All Waterloo Public Library locations will be closed today

-Community Living Cambridge all day programs cancelled

-All programs at K-W Gymnastics cancelled today

-The First Baptist Church on Erb Street in Waterloo has cancelled this morning’s senior program “Super 60’s”

-All country buses to Arc Industries in Elmira are cancelled.. but the day program will remain open

-Community Support Connections closed today

-The Doon location of Curves is closed and may open later in the day

-All KW Habilitation Day Programs Closed-Staff please report to designated homes

-All programs at the Forest Heights Community Centre including evening programs are cancelled today

-Little Learners program at Centreville Chicopee Community Centre is cancelled today.

-All Stanley Park Community Association programs are cancelled today and this evening

-CAMBRIDGE BASKETBALL has cancelled its tournament for today

-United Way Kitchener Waterloo & Area office is closed for the day

-All Meals on Wheels deliveries across Woolwich, Wellesley and Wilmot Townships are cancelled. All other programs of Community Care Concepts are open

-University of Waterloo WELL-FIT exercise classes are cancelled

-Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region is closed

-Woolwich Community Health Centre in St. Jacobs is cancelling the HUGS program

-The rehearsal of the Grand River New Horizons Band at the KW Naval Association is cancelled for this morning

-ACCKWA (The AIDS Committee of Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo & Area) is closed

-R&R…WE Create CHANGE fundraising event, at Starbucks, 600 Laurelwood Dr., has been rescheduled to Friday, February 22nd

-Cambridge Kips Gymnastics all classes cancelled

-Preston Heights Community Group in Cambridge is closed today

-Trinity Village Adult Day Program in Kitchener is cancelled

-“The Volunteer Coaches’ training session for Strong Start to be held this morning at 9:30am at Crestview PS is cancelled due to poor weather

-All locations of the HopeSpring Cancer Resource Support Centre are closed

-All House of Friendship programs at the Kingsdale Community Centre are cancelled

-All K-W Counselling services are closed

-YMCA immigrant services employment offices are closed

-Kindermusik of Cambridge classes cancelled

-All programs at the Kingsdale Community Centre are cancelled

-Kitchener’s Downtown Community Health Centre is closed

-All Doon Pioneer Park Community Association programs cancelled

-Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre is closed

-The Beckett School, both locations (5 Michael Street and 68 Biehn Dr. Kitchener) is closed. The Pop’s Recital will be rescheduled

-The Opportunity Centre and Beginnings ABI Day Programs are closed

-Wilmot Family Resource Centre is closed today and all programs are cancelled

-All Victoria Hills Neighborhood Association programs are cancelled today

-Volunteer Action Centre is closed today

-The Village of Winston Park in Kitchener the memorial service for 2pm is cancelled today

-St. Mary’s High School in Kitchener… The semi-formal at Wilfrid Laurier is cancelled tonight

-Contemporary School of Dance is cancelling all dance classes today and
tonight

-Dimensions in Dance has cancelled all classes for this evening including private lessons

-Waterloo Minor Soccer will be cancelling all programs at both RIM and Bechtel Park this evening due to the weather

-Concordia Club Kitchener closed

-Little Champs Academy in Kitchener will be closed

-The offices of Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region and The WALES program are closed

-Woolwich Skating Club has cancelled skating for tonight

-Due to the weather all Fedbus buses are cancelled today

-Revolution Gymnastics and Sports Centre closed

-Celebrate Recovery at Creekside Church will be cancelled tonight. This includes the Landing and Celebration Station at 7pm

-Preston Figure Skating Club – All programs are cancelled today

-Wellesley Skating Club evening classes cancelled

-All Friday Dance and Music classes at Star Performance Academy in Waterloo are cancelled

-All classes at Premier Dance Academy in Waterloo will be cancelled for the evening

-Music lessons at Jeff Vasey Music School in Cambridge are cancelled

-Due to inclement weather, today’s event at the Waterloo Inn with MPPs Michael Harris and Monte McNaughton has been cancelled

-The Kitchener and Guelph Workplace Safety and Insurance Board offices will be closed as of noon today due to inclement weather and will re-open Monday February 11, 2013 @ 8:30 a.m.

– Kindred Spirit in Waterloo has cancelled all appointments for today and this evening. They will be closed for the remainder of today and will return to regular hours tomorrow.

-All daytime and evening classes at CAROUSEL DANCE CENTRE are cancelled.

-Davenport Dance Project have cancelled all evening classes

-The Golden Triangle Scrabble Club has cancelled its sessions tonight

-Centre Stage Dance Studio in New Hamburg and Unlock Unleash Control in Kitchener have cancelled all dance classes for this evening.

-The New Hamburg Thrift Centre is closing by 1 pm

-Waterloo 4-H is cancelling their AGM that was scheduled for this evening at the Schmidtsville Restaurant in Wellesley. It has been re-scheduled for Feb 22nd.

-Storytelling event at the Button Factory has been cancelled

-The Wilmot Recreation Complex will close at 2:00 pm, all programs will be cancelled this evening.

-Moree School of Dance has cancelled all classes for Friday night. Regular classes will resume Saturday morning.

-Northern Lights Canada Kitchener/Waterloo office has closed early due to the weather.

-The UW Drama production of “On Love” happening at Studio 180 in Hagey Hall at the University of Waterloo has cancelled their 2 p.m. matinee and 8 p.m. shows. Saturday shows will still happen at their previously scheduled time.

-All programming at the K-W skating club is cancelled tonight.

-Garbage, blue box and green bin collection has been cancelled in Waterloo Region. Crews will try to finish the pick-up tomorrow morning at 7.

-Act OUT’s rehearsal of DRACULA is cancelled this evening due to the inclement weather.

-Renaissance School of the Arts Tap dance class & RSA DANCE CO. rehearsal is cancelled this evening.

-The Drumbo Neighbourhood Watch Youth dance for this evening is cancelled due to weather and the school building closure.

-Mike Mandel cancels his show at River Run tonight

-The Bernie Senensky Jazz Concert is cancelled for tonight at The Registry Theatre. Ticket holders can get a refund at point of sale.

-The city of Kitchener is cancelling the Seniors Day Program

-All Rockway Centre programs are cancelled, including the meal program and all ongoing group activities

-Forest Heights Community Association programs are cancelled

-Doon Pioneer Park Community Association programs are cancelled

-Youth drop-in and Little Learners program at Centreville Chicopee Community Centre are cancelled

-Stanley Park Community Association programs are cancelled

-Youth drop-in and Wee Wigglers programs at Williamsburg Community Centre are cancelled

-Youth drop-in at Chandler Mowat Community Centre is cancelled

-Community Support Connections, guitar and YWCA GirlSpace programs at Bridgeport Community Centre are cancelled

-Victoria Hills Community Centre programs are cancelled

-City of Kitchener pools will be closing at 4 p.m.

-City of Kitchener community centres, and pools will close at 4pm today.

-Budd Park is closed

-all programs for the Cambridge Skating Club at the Galt Arena tonight are cancelled

-Bed Bath and Beyond in Cambridge and Kitchener are closed for the day

-all Waterloo Minor Hockey games and practices are cancelled this evening

-Fairview Park Mall will be closing at 6:00PM today

-Conestoga Mall will close at 6:00 p.m. this evening. Zehrs and Galaxy Cinema will continue to operate their regular hours.

-Magicuts on Lorraine Ave. only closed due to weather. Salon will open at 8:00am Saturday morning.

-Conestoga College has cancelled all daytime and evening classes and operations at all its campuses

-University of Waterloo has closed its campuses here and in Stratford

-All Warrior home games have been cancelled tonight due to inclement weather. That includes Volleyball at 6pm and 8pm vs. Windsor and Men’s Hockey at 7:30pm also against Windsor

-Wilfrid Laurier University has closed its’ campuses in Waterloo and Brantford

-University of Guelph is closed for the day

-Everest College, on Gaukel Street in Kitchener, is closed

-Medix College in Kitchener closed

-Trios College in Kitchener closed

-Liaison College is closed

-All Summit College Campuses and Support Office are closed today

-CATI, Canadian Automotive & Trucking Institute in Cambridge closed

-Gina’s College Waterloo Campus is closed today including all classes as well as the clinic floor

-Heritage College and Seminary in Cambridge closed

-Voila Hair Institute in Kitchener is closed
